The 30 Day Box provides mylar packages of components, including: 20 lbs of long-grain white rice, 8 lbs of Black Beans, 8 lbs of Pinto Beans, 1.3 lbs of Salt, and 1/2 lb of Soup Base for seasoning or to make soup. This is the Emergency Food Ration Kit you want to have on hand when a disaster, shortage or other unforeseen circumstances occur. When prepared, this kit prepares over 45 pounds of nutritious food.
Shelf life when stored in a cool and dry location can extend over 25 years for most components. It is worth noting that soup components contain a trace amount of oil within them which can limit shelf life to up to 15 years when properly stored.
